4 months!

Holy moly it's about dang time I updated this! I apologize for not posting sooner like I was supposed to but stuff got crazy for awhile as you can imagine with 4 kids.

The boys are officially 4 months old already and I am in disbelief that that much time has passed. It has gone so quickly and they have changed so so much!! They almost look totally different from when they first came home as tiny little peanuts with such skinny little limbs. Now, they are plumped out and completely healthy!
My daily routine with 4 kids since I am sure you guys are curious!!! Well my morning goes like this:
Wake up at 6:45 and change the boys, pump, wake up my husband and kayleigh, feed the boys and put them down for a nap that lasts about an hour-hour and a half, feed abigail and change her diaper, (kayleigh is in school by 7:53, my husband takes her) and enjoy a cup of coffee and some breakfast. THEN they usually wake up for lunch, i do the whole pumping thing again because well, with two its easier. The whole "feed them at the same time on your boob" is...impossible. Let me tell you. I've tried every position possible and it just doesnt work for me. They will nurse during the night time though which is nice. Anyways theyll wake up and play before they eat then its basically non stop all over again! No time to rest unless they are sleeping...which lately it has been on me otherwise they wont sleep at all...yikes.
Its busy but I dont mind it a bit. I am into a routine so stuff is slowly starting to get done. My goal everyday is to at least do one thing like laundry or dishes...or even sweep that way its not too disgusting in this house.

As for the boys:
Micah is about 13 pounds now and long!!! He has such an appetite and eats about 5 ounces every 3 hours! Hard to keep up with. He sleeps well through the night and only wakes up maybe twice. He loves sleeping on his side and coos and smiles constantly. He is such a happy, mellow baby!! He recognized his brother and his toes this month to which he loves staring and smiling at both. If you put him too close to max he will try and eat his arm. It's kind of funny. Micah has also surprised me by learning how to roll over from his tummy to his back! He almost mastered back to tummy but not quite yet!
Little Max is 11lbs and 12 ounces. He is not much behind is brother anymore and is also such a happy thriving baby! He smiles alot and although he doesnt coo just at much, I can tell within his smiles that he is perfectly content when mommy sings to them. He is a wiggler but loves to sleep on his back. He used to be very vocal but had mellowed out quite a bit. they are getting easier which is a blessing!!! He Hasnt showed interest in rolling yet which is kind of nice because with Micah alone, I cant leave him in a bouncer or on the couch without him trying to roll off! Two at once would just be nuts....Cant wait to start the crawling!!! AHHHHHHH!!!

The girls are doing great! Kayleigh is excelling in school and at a first grade reading level and Abigail is talking way way more now and is still...a pill LOL.

  1. Hey Lia,
I had a reminder set on my phone to read your blog and I'm sorry I'm getting to it so late. Aww at Micah recognizing Max and trying to eat his arm. Yay for Kayleigh reading at a first grade level! I love reading your tweets about the silly things Abby says.

On your next blogpost, I'll try to read it the same day.
