14 Months and Always on my feet!

Crap, 
I apologize for not updating you all sooner! WITH THE HOLIDAYS AROUND AND ALL THE HECTIC-NESS OF THEIR BDAYS-MY LIFE WAS NUTS! 


THE LAST THING I WROTE WAS COUNTING DOWN THE DAYS TIL MY BOYS HAD TURNED 1! 
IT WAS A MAGICAL DAY. SO SPECIAL AND WE WERE SO THRILLED THAT MANY PEOPLE CAME TO CELEBRATE SUCH A HUGE THING. THEY BOTH HAD THEIR OWN CAKES. BOTH OF THEM WERE A BIT UNSURE IN THE BEGINNING WHAT TO EVEN DO WITH THE CAKE. UNTIL MICAH DISCOVERED YOU COULD MAKE A MESS. THEN IT SEEMS BOTH MADE A MESS AND DID VERY LITTLE EATING OF IT. WHICH IS EXACTLY THE POINT! WE TOOK PICTURES THOUGH. I MADE THEM SPECIAL SHIRTS FOR THEM TO WEAR. THEY MATCHED. HAHA OF COURSE BEFORE THEY WERE BORN, I WAS SO STRICT ON NOT WANTING TO DRESS THEM ALIKE AT ALL. BUT I FELL BACK ON THAT BECAUSE IT'S JUST TOO CUTE! THEY DON'T STRESS ALIKE ALL THE TIME AT ALL, BUT FOR THEIR SPECIAL DAY, THEY DID. THEY LOOKED AWESOME. (Sorry for the caps, i'm excited)Max is on the Left and Micah on the right!

Besides their bday, everything has been ...crazy! It seems after the big day, everything just kept happening at such a fast pace! 


Max is walking! Yes ladies and gents he is everywHERE! Of course with the walking, comes the climbing on high things! I am constantly on my toes with him! He knows how to crawl on his sisters beds, the toilet seat and the couch downstairs. He has no fear. Because of this, he probably gets a boo-boo at least once a day. His teeth (first two) finally popped through. Just a tad bit though and I'm working on them coming all the way out! Grrr, it takes forever! He is still such a snuggler and loves to walk over to me a pop a squat right in my lap.  He communicates alot and can use a fork, straw and even make noises when he wants something. He says a few things and is such a smart boy. One of the cutest things he does is walk up to micah, takes his binky out of his mouth, kisses him and puts it back in. They interact so much I LOVE it!


Micah is almost walking. He's more content crawling, although hes perfectly capable of walking. He does it when I'm "Not looking" . Sneaky boy. He loves to test me to see my reaction. He is definitely a climber too and gets into everything. It;s funny because he'll tell me "danger" and hold his hand out in a stop gesture. He also speaks a few words. Perhaps a few more than Max and he has a temper. Although he is a sweet snuggly boy, if anyone tries to take a toy (especially his brother) he will make a huge deal out of it and hit then throw a tantrum. I'm in the process of teaching him hitting isnt nice. But he seems to think its funny when he bops max in the head. Such a little stinker. He also uses a fork and a straw while eating and communicates with max . they pair up and go everywhere together. However, it never fails that as soon as any music comes on, he'll stand up, stop what he's doing and dance. That is so my kid. 


I have countless videos on my phone of them playing chase with each other and their sisters. I can't get enough of it. Watching all my kids play and laugh is just ...cloud nine. I guess thats a good word for it. 


Kayleigh is on break. She goes back to school tomorrow. She's finally reached the age of being extremely annoyed at anything and everything Abby does. She wants her own space. They do play well together on some days but they just know how to get under each others skin. As do all siblings. She is growing so fast though and is SO DANG tall! Despite the constant bickering with her sister and the tattling, she is still a sweet little girl. She loves helping fix her brothers food and has started learning how to cook with me :D


Abby- Still fiesty. haha nothing has changed with her minus her height and her crazy hair growing!!! She loves annoying her sister. She thinks its funny and will keep doing it. She is hilarious though and loves making songs that include anything with the word poop...or butt. She has my humor for sure. She is helpful with the boys and loves giving them kisses and love. 


Me-
I'm always on my toes. Whether it be pulling a climbing boy down from something, cleaning a trail of toys behind their wake, feeding the kids, playing or cleaning...I almost always have something to do. I've lost weight. None of my pants fit right. Which is good since I've been eating small healthy portions and determined to get to my pre preggy weight. I'm almost there. I'll probably do a vlog on all that soon. Everything else is just gravy. haha. Who says that anymore?
